Tarot Read, Sept 21

Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 9:23:07 AM
Question: Yesterday I cried a lot because StarTalkers ended. I
t scared me — old abandonment issues. Later I did some I Ching and for the first time ever, I got "The Receptive" hexagram FIRST and then hexagram 19 for the Future. I guess my 'gag order' or 'restraining order by the Holy Spirit' is over — I have learned the basics of 'Ahimsa', the Strength Card, the power of Yin. Wahooo!
Celtic Cross

1: Self
Give yourself credit for the quality work you are producing.

The Eight of Coins in this position reveals a gift or talent for design, engineering, or problem solving — the know-how necessary to combine utility with efficiency and beauty. This points to a master developing his or her craft. When a person becomes proficient at something, his or her good reputation can spread until the work is showcased in the loftiest venues. It is important for you to respect and appreciate the high quality of the works you are producing and the acclaim your achievements merit.
2: Situation
The joy of shared victory resounds throughout your environment.

When the Nine of Cups is in this position, your immediate circle has experienced some sort of victory. The group could be a family unit or a domestic partnership. With each other’s help, you have made it across the finish line together, completing your agreed upon labors in a coordinated way. At the heart of the joy in this card is the unity that comes from shared dreams now being realized. Positive, abundant, and optimistic feelings are shared equally among you. Few human experiences are more pleasurable than being part of a winning team or achieving a collective success of any type. This card calls for a celebration, a toast, a round of applause and acknowledgment for all the players.
3: Challenges
Open yourself only to those whom you know are committed to their principles.

The Two of Cups in this position presents an opportunity for you to reveal yourself at a deep level of trust and truth, but do so only with those who have earned your trust and have proven their loyalty. This is definitely not a time to forsake your boundaries and merge with someone, even if this is what your instincts and desires are pushing you toward. You may feel completely smitten and would like to be swept off, but don’t give yourself away! No relationship that is realistic will expect or demand one hundred percent surrender, and no healthy person would accept such an expectation in the name of love. It’s not required that you rescue anyone or be rescued, or that you risk everything for another. Give up dramatic agendas. It’s most important that you meet half way, with hearts open, and get to know each other better.
4: Foundation
You have the power to become more flexible in the ways you do things, in order to create new outcomes.
The Two of Swords in this position suggests that you have long hard experience dealing with mixed messages and private agendas. In your background, people resisted compromise, fought for black-and-white thinking, or generally refused to budge. Try not to let your self get split along old party lines. You have the potential to communicate differently and more effectively than the methods used against you in the past. When you keep your mind open to shades of gray, to subtle nuance, you can retrain any impulse you may have to jump to conclusions or resort to old, rigid thinking patterns. This is your opportunity to retrain old patterns and create new outcomes. Start by recognizing the pressure that an inherited belief system puts on you to fall back into old habits. New choices are available, even in conflicted situations like those that once dominated you.
5: Recent Past
Keep your own best interests at heart; beware of the temporary comfort of inertia.
With the Nine of Swords in this position, the influence of a painful period is passing. But if you let it ease out of your consciousness, ignoring that it ever happened, you won’t learn how it came about and you’ll be doomed to repeat it. Perhaps you were careless in looking after your own best interests. You may have let yourself get blind-sided, seduced or led out on a limb, perhaps offering trust before it was earned. This is not a random event in your life. You have to analyze how you came to the present situation, so you can prevent it from becoming a repeating pattern in your life.
6: Higher Power
Card: The Moon
Don’t fight the inevitable tides of emotion and psychic transformation that penetrate our most hidden selves.
Get your ego out of the way of the great wave sweeping over you, inviting you to submit to your highest spiritual self. Surrender to the psychic forces that move through all of us in generational tides to bring about cleansing experiences, revelations and corrections. Fear and uncertainty often accompany this unpredictable flood. Nevertheless, resist the temptation to succumb to doubt and recriminations. You are in a protected position regarding the moon, a “lunatic” moved from within by the monthly cycle of invisible tides. This could be a time to study transits in your chart to see what is shaping the timing of events in your life. Perhaps you should study your dreams. In any case, stop fighting the flow.
7: Near Future
The group dynamic is softening into an easy, loving, playful stage that will facilitate future successes.
With the Three of Cups in this position, it appears as if you are coming into a time where you have understanding instead of miscommunication and frustration. Instead of friction and competition, you have mutual support and cooperation. It’s a wonderful feeling, especially after the stress and challenge of the past. Continue to open your heart, keep loving each other, and hold to an optimistic view of the future. A strong affirmation for you is right around the corner; it will have been worth the uncertainty and emotional risks that were taken.
8: Blocks and Inhibitions
You forget to direct your optimism toward yourself.

When the Star appears in this position, you may believe that good things never happen to you. In some ways you stand in the way of your natural brightness, goodness and truth. Remember that the same love and service you extend to those around you is also being held for you. Try not to discount or resist your blessings.
9: Allies
With strong support you feel confident that the dream is worth the risks.

The Knight of Cups in this position suggests your timing is near perfect. The greater flow of events is supporting you, and your team or family group is ready to hear what you have been preparing to share. Everyone is positioned for agreement, harmony and support. As you are bringing yourself back into the fold, it’s wonderful to rediscover that you are not alone. Allies are positioned nearby who will help and guide you, just as you would do for them. Count your blessings; this is a fine position to be in. This is the perfect time to reclaim your place in the circle.
10: Advice
Put Self-cultivation at the top of your daily priority list.

The High Priestess in this position asks you to become more regular in your chosen spiritual practice. If you want the benefits of evolution, you have to cooperate with spirit. We all have distractions, demands, a whole life full of reasons why we cannot find the time to retreat into our inner sanctum. Yet you will always be restless and dissatisfied until you consider this need as vital to your well being as the need to eat and sleep. A spiritual routine that suits your temperament, practiced every day, is the most trustworthy path to freedom.
11: Long-Term Potential
A lasting impact on future generations can spring from your willingness to manifest it.
With the Four of Wands in this position, you’re planting the seed for something that may last far into the future because of its enduring usefulness to many people. Perhaps it’s a methodology or a philosophy; perhaps it’s a new profession, industry or school. In any case, this spontaneous act of brilliance could prove momentous for a long time to come. Proceed with due deliberation, with respect and integrity, remembering the potential impact you can have on the world. Accepting this seminal mission is your responsibility.

Wild Card:The Four of Swords
sends a strong message to take some time out, surrendering worldly concerns and retreating to a place of serenity sheltered from the hustle and bustle. The oldest images suggest a visit to "the sepulcher of your ancestors," to contemplate your mortality and breathe in the dust of those who brought you here. On a vision quest or pilgrimage to your own center, you can contemplate your roots, your values and your goals. Here you will see your own place in the flow of time and unfolding generations.

1: House of Identity
Consider carefully what consequences may result from joining forces.

The Five of Coins in this position indicates the attraction of opposites. The Five of Coins depicts lovers discovering each other, mirroring and matching, magnetized by each other’s qualities. Once the first flush of infatuation is past, however, the same energy of attraction that once felt so exciting may become a source of friction. The seeds of conflict are built into the fabric of the attraction. Even though the whole becomes more than the sum of its parts, it has been known to devour the individuals who comprise it.
This card suggests a relationship opportunity or offer. Examine what the outcome of joining forces would be. Ascertain as best you can if there is enough to keep you engaged, so that you don’t base a long term endeavor on a moment’s infatuation. Successful long term partnerships are business arrangements as well as love affairs.
2: House of Work
Your personal standards will undergo scrutiny and judgment.

When Justice is in this position, you are facing some sort of righteous judgment, and you can only submit. There is no way to enter a plea or counter motion. Your deeds, thoughts and words are on display and the truth is disclosed before all. Compassion is factored in only after full accountability has been determined. Hopefully you have lived up to a high standard and maintained your ethics and ideals. All attempts to dissemble or skew the issues or arguments are counted against you. Do your best to listen, learn, understand and discipline yourself. Examine your motives.
3: House of Ideas
Raise the consciousness of those around you. Cooperation instead of competition will bring you to the greater good.
The Five of Wands in this position challenges you to help raise the awareness of those around you, forsaking competition and instead cooperatively questioning the overall system. This card represents the point at which consciousness moves from a self centered place to the desire to join forces for a greater good. As collective consciousness rises above bickering and schisms, you can target the real problem. If you take charge, you’ll be able to count on the support of others who themselves had not yet defined the common good.
4: House of the Family
Lessons learned from the past give you expertise and wisdom you can apply to your present circumstances.
The Page of Coins in this position suggests that your education will hold you in good stead. This is an important time for you to tap your memory and apply some of the knowledge you acquired earlier to your current situation. You have mastered some skills that will help you discern what’s going on around you and respond appropriately. These skills are being called forth by current events. Don’t hesitate — be ready to learn more and put that learning to good use. In the process you may influence others who need to apply their own practical knowledge but aren’t quite getting down to business. In this way you can in some measure repay the gift you were given in your past — learning how to learn.
5: House of Magic
Card: The Universe
Your point of view and your willingness to cooperate with the Great Mystery evokes amazing synchronicities and sustains you in miraculous ways.
With the World in this position, you have recently had a vision of the bigger picture. It swept away your parochial, limited view and replaced it with an infinitely open ended and creative model of continuous transformation. Recognize yourself to be part of it, even though you must still deal with ordinary life. You correctly perceived that you are connected by invisible threads of relationship to everything else in creation.
Imprint that recent experience in your memory, so that it can serve as a resource for the rest of your life. When the ego wants to return to boundaries and normality, maintain the link with this transcendent, awakened, universal view. Returning again and again to it is the fulfillment of lifetimes of spiritual exploration. Organize all other aspects of your life around the primacy of this revelation.
6: House of Apprenticeship
The spotlight is on you and you are ready to stand in your power.
When the King of Wands presents in this position, a leadership role is being pressed on you from all sides and it’s difficult to turn it down. When the collectivity needs a figurehead for motivation and nobody feels adequate to the job, accept the image and the role and let others’ growing enthusiasm support you. This is not the time to sidestep this opportunity; relax and enjoy what may be a once in a lifetime experience.
7: House of Relationships
Your heart of hearts is finally illuminating the inner ideal that has been fueling your prodigious labors.
When the Ten of Wands is in this position, you will be presented with an opportunity for reflection and perspective that will take you behind current positions and activities. You will get a glimpse of your heart’s true motivation, the real reasons you are involved in present choices and challenges. This can be a startling realization. You may be reminded of decisions made in your distant past that set you on your course to the present. You will gain perspective into the process that has shaped your personality, matured you and brought you to your present level of power and drive. When you arrive at that level of self-realization, the reasons behind the current events in your life will become clear to you.
8: House of Secrets
If you get over the reflex to resist change, you will flow right into your wiser and fullest self.
When Judgment appears in this position, you lack confidence in your infinite interior life. You seem to believe that everyone else’s being is divine and yours is not. That you lack belief in your own worth, rightness and immortality is the very last veil that keeps you from reunion with your greater self. You can pull this thin, transparent veil aside by choosing wholeness over fragmentation and obscurity. When the veil parts, you will feel it like a thunderclap, a trumpet blast. Your infinite being awaits your acceptance so it can bless you with all the powers and gifts you already naturally possess but may not be aware of.
9: House of Visions
You count among your friends those whom you used to admire.
The Star suggests that you are absolutely in the right place at the right time, doing the right thing. You may need feedback from higher ups or other sources to call your attention to this fact. But in truth, the self you have cultivated is worth the attention and emulation of people you respect. It could be that you are looking up to individuals as your teachers, while they see you as theirs. This is truly wonderful. Acknowledge how far you have come and how well you are doing.
10: House of Reputation
Realize you are not one of the captains; concentrate instead on a role that supports and promotes the objective
.
The Queen of Wands in this position reveals a need to hold your place in the chain of command and respect the hierarchy. Don’t take the helm yourself, even though you are motivated by a strong dedication to completing a task. A perceived deficiency in leadership makes you want to take control, but restrain yourself. Remain loyal to your higher-ups so that you remain focused, willful and energetic, enthusiastically attacking the challenges directly in front of you. Perform in good faith and encourage others to do the same.
11: House of the Future
You have the potential to be a wise, inspiring leader in your community.

When the King of Cups is in this position, your generous motives and clear vision have the power to attract the right people, resources and the most harmonious ingredients to fulfill your dreams. The blessings of the King of Cups act as glue to help hold a family, community or business enterprise together. He uses his love to lift everyone’s spirits, providing reassurance wherever it is needed. He generates confidence and encourages peoples’ best work and creativity. People like to validate his warm confidence in them with their best performance. Getting this card in this position is a strong vote of confidence for you. You have what it takes to become an example of strength and wisdom in your community.
12: House of Surrender
The strongest and most popular leader is the servant or caretaker of the realm.

When the Ten of Cups is in this position, don’t rest on your laurels and relax into your pleasures until the most minor member of the group is taken care of. Be like the body which tracks every part of itself, and mobilizes to treat the slightest hurt in even the smallest part. This is the sacrifice required of you. You cannot rest easy in the comfort of your accomplishments until all others in your care are provided for. You owe it to them, for without your support group you wouldn’t have been able to achieve what you have. The more you can spread good will, acknowledgment and praise, the more you will be seen as the heroic leader who benefits all.

Wild Card: The Six of Coins
is the card of Patronage and generosity -- with all the strings attached. The picture shows a rich man giving alms, feeling smug and self-satisfied, reputation enhanced from his giving, but without having helped anybody really better him or herself. Sometimes there is an inference that the giver will be expecting something back for his "generosity," perhaps sexual favors.
A patron of the arts would signify a higher octave, someone who rescues a talented person from oblivion, but then wants to dictate what the artist can produce or whom he can work for as his fame grows. Inequality of power is always a factor in this card, and the person being "helped" in this model needs to be extremely careful not to trade off her or his heart and soul for a short cut to fame or fortune. Meanwhile each player in this scenario needs to examine his or her investment in playing out a domination-dynamic.

1: House of Identity
You are led by imagination into the realm of heart and soul.

The Page of Cups portrays a devoted servant and student of the heart. The Page has a trusting nature that doesn’t doubt or question, and generally doesn’t research to verify assumptions. Imagination and faith are your guides. This page fills his mystical cup and drinks deep from the transformative waters of the higher mind. You would like to join him in that exploration of inner space. Don’t let this distract you from the necessary responsibilities of day to day survival, however. This page sometimes allows himself to be swept away. In a slight trance, he may grant too much power and credibility to gurus, teachers or leaders when it’s really in his best interest to keep his own counsel. With a dreamy heart on his sleeve, utterly sincere and transparent in his motives, he assumes everyone else is a seeker, too. Beware forgetting to look out for yourself lest you be played for a fool.
2: House of Work
Card: The Magician
Allow genius to operate in this situation and creative solutions are sure to arise.

Involve yourself with a person of genius who can spontaneously and intuitively transform lemons into lemonade, chaos into a higher order. When a creative point of view prevails, solutions come easier; people become less judgmental or compulsive. The sense that one can figure out a novel solution makes this a fertile situation for quirky or unorthodox approaches. Don’t miss this boat; it will be a fun ride.
3: House of Ideas
Be careful and clear-sighted in the beginning, with a look to the long term.
The Ace of Coins in this position reveals an opportunity to plant your seed in good soil at the right time of year, with a view to the long term. Think like a farmer. You want to provide the best possible conditions for your seedlings. You want things to grow quickly so you can bring your project or enterprise to a productive state where the world can see its value. In order to great results in the long run, you must take good care in the beginning. Gather the skills and tools you need. You are faced with a tremendous opportunity.
4: House of the Family
Someone showed you how to be persistent and steadfast in pursuit of your goal.

The Seven of Coins in this position suggests that role models from your past have offered you a remarkable gift: the wisdom to choose a prudent, slow and steady approach to climbing your mountain. Somebody showed you how to compound the interest earned by regular steady effort. Now you know how to invest yourself in a focused way, persevering toward a long term goal. Before you take the next steps, look back to the person or situation that taught you, so you can reinforce this valuable learning. Doing so will provide a firm foundation that allows you to continue your current endeavors and significantly add to your chances of success.
5: House of Magic
Others see something admirable and inspiring in you, and they want you to live up to what they see.

The Seven of Swords in this position suggests that you have done something splendid, heroic or generally helpful — perhaps quite accidentally. This focused more attention on you than you may have wanted, and possibly may be applying the pressure of new expectations. If your courageous, inspiring action was at all serendipitous, you may in some ways feel unworthy of the credit you have been given. Nevertheless, it’s important to understand that, when action was needed, you didn’t stop to count the cost or worry about your own security or comfort. What you did was heroic even if — possibly especially if — your actions weren’t premeditated. When others say you are something special and someone to admire, be receptive.
6: House of Apprenticeship
Although something has been lost, you are enjoined to persevere in your dreams.

When the Five of Cups presents in this position, it represents the spiritual challenge of accepting the partial loss of what you held most dear. It’s important that you not lose enthusiasm for the rest of your aspirations, because they are still within your grasp. You must be a warrior of the heart and spring back from this kind of disappointment. Your Higher Self is hereby giving you a vote of confidence. You have the resilience and clarity of mind to rise above loss and grief. To fully recover from this setback, seize the two unspilled cups and move forward with the determination you had when you still had all five. If your mission is sacred, your guidance real, and your heart strong, it’s worth carrying on — even if the totality of your envisioned outcome isn’t forthcoming. Don’t lose heart. Stay on the path. It’s not about the quantity of blessing that’s available, it’s the quality.
7: House of Relationships
Others can benefit from your clever skill at disassembling and rebuilding a situation.
With the Horseman of Coins in this position, it appears that your ability to save a situation will get you elected into the ranks of local heroes. This is not just about fame and praise, because there is serious work that needs to be done. Only the best, the brightest and the most competent will be able to figure out how to unbind stuck energy and redistribute it for the benefit of all. Like the heroes of the old myths, you are challenged to help people raise their competencies, not just fix the problem for them.
8: House of Secrets
Determine how you prejudice yourself in your situation.

The King of Swords in this position indicates you are overanalyzing everything in an attempt to avoid what others are trying to tell or teach you. You have a bias that disqualifies you as an impartial judge of your situation. Take some time to question your motives and ask yourself what you are doing or trying to accomplish. Temper your sense of righteousness and entitlement to judge; return to disciplining, monitoring and directing your own energy. Before you can correct anyone else’s thinking, you have to learn how to more objectively correct your own, so work on that now. This is critical to the overall outcome.
9: House of Visions
Those who hear the call of their higher selves are coming together.

The Judgment card in this position advises that you keep company with those who are shaking off their limits, and expanding their consciousness as much as their imaginations will allow. Let yourself be redeemed and reborn. Start to affiliate with those who twenty years from now will serve as influencers. They are, like you, marching to a different drummer, responding to the call for change resounding throughout the land. Those who have the ears to hear it are lifting their heads, looking around and finding each other. If you let yourself heed the call, you will experience a profound transformation.
10: House of Reputation
Unveil and showcase your skills and talents.
The Three of Coins in this position suggests that you let the world see your unique capabilities. Let the world in on who you are; expect recognition, accept it and savor it. Allow others to see your accomplishments. Expect new offers and when they come, accept them. Don’t hide your light under a bushel basket. And avoid false modesty — it doesn’t become you. Practice saying to yourself, “Thank you, I accept your compliment” until you really can let the experience into your heart with graceful ease.
11: House of the Future
Closure will come as you complete your mission with confidence.

The Ten of Wands in this position reveals your potential to complete a long time mission that is very close to your heart. If you continue to stay your course, repeat your energetic efforts as much as needed, and build a solid body of accomplishments, you will succeed at fulfilling the goal you set long ago. Closure is sure to come, freeing you for other endeavors. The process will have raised your self esteem. You will possess the confidence of a person who can target an ambitious goal, work toward it systematically and achieve it in no uncertain terms. This experience will give you a strong foundation of trust in yourself, personal strength and reliability.
12: House of Surrender
Although you may feel ready to rise in the world, it may be to your benefit to remain in a position of service for a bit longer.

The Page of Coins in this position requires that you linger in the position of apprentice longer than you may feel your skills already warrant. Something is going on that makes it necessary for you to delay the full bloom of your potential and continue performing as a junior partner or a student. You may have passed those beginner’s exercises long ago and feel capable of much more. Nevertheless, it might be that, in terms of the good of the whole, you serve a more important function by remaining in your current position for the time being. It is not tragic or sad to be in service, especially if you are working in a field that you care about. Consider this as a period of gestation. When you complete your service, a great birth will soon follow.

Q: I’m glad I can ease into my next job. The first thing I indulged in was channeling a reading for my music friend and I ended writing something too. I want to send the written work to my possible mentor as well. People don't take me seriously and often treat me like I'm stupid or loose. I don't bother defending my moral character or my intelligence. I know when I need to stick to my guns, but also know when I've wronged somebody and make amends.

Wild Card: The King of Swords
is the Adjudicator, the wise judge, a mediator. He helps parties in conflict discover common ground and build upon it, and guides societies to see their greater good. His archetype is Solomon, ancient lawgiver and philosopher of the Jewish Old Testament. Sometimes appearing cool and detached, he can be misunderstood as not caring.
But emotional displays are simply not his medium, nor is he moved by appeals to sympathy or pity. With the philosophical overview that comes from long experience, he listens deeply, watches closely, and speaks last. In the end, his evenhandedness and objectivity have earned him the respect he receives from his community, and those who cannot work out their problems come to him voluntarily for advice.
Occasionally this King is subtly detailed to imply that he is a woman in male armor. If you notice this theme in your deck, it is a reference to Joan of Arc, the Maid of Orleans, archetype of a devout and inspired woman warrior, who was mystically led to abandon her social role to defend what she saw as the greater good. Although she was martyred young, her model crystallizes the message that sometimes the good of the whole is more important than the good of the individual, and in that case, even if you lose, you win just for being there.

1: House of Identity
Feelings of renewal and idealism are arising in you, which will empower you to radiate the higher virtues to all around you.
The Two of Cups in this position is shouting “Love!” This isn’t necessarily about a traditional love affair. It could be a strong heart connection between yourself and someone you care greatly about. It could even be an attraction to an ideal or a vision that is as real to you as any interpersonal relationship. It can also represent reconciliation between your own masculine and feminine aspects. In any case, this card is referring to that aroused, emotionally sensitive space we enter when we are opening up at a deep level. This may be a sweet, adorable moment, but you can’t deduce from this immediate feeling what the ultimate outcome of the relationship will be. Nevertheless, this card does encourage the idealism that creates fidelity and trust, empathy and compassion — the very human virtues we need most in our lives and relationships. Your emotional, psychic and spiritual life are quickening like spring. Enjoy this wonderful feeling and bless the world with it, but don’t make any serious commitments at this time.
2: House of Work
This is a charmed moment in your life. Let yourself appreciate its sweetness.

The Ace of Cups in this position shows that you have discovered an environment permeated with kindness, nurturance and support. Scarcity has no power here. This is a situation in which everyone is capable of looking after each other in a kind and careful way. Although this situation may be astonishing compared to what you are used to, try to accept it and be nurtured by it. This is a sweet, nourishing, lovely environment. Relax and enjoy it while it prevails.
3: House of Ideas
Be ready to act on what you instinctively know is a good opportunity.

The Three of Wands in this position says your instincts and impulses are aroused by new trends and possibilities. Take a good look at the tide coming in and be ready to take advantage of its power to take your ships out to sea. Act on these changes — you are the right person at the right time. If you disregard this opportunity you will regret it later.
4: House of the Family
You know how to keep setbacks in proper perspective, and can avoid compounding your problems with unskillful emotional responses.
The Five of Cups in this position suggests that sometime in the past you faced a situation of great loss and pulled yourself back from the edge of despair, starting over from scratch. You know how it’s done; it’s not a mystery to you. You have learned not to put too much store in the emotions of the moment and know how to avoid compounding your misery when things go awry. As long as inner values remain intact, externals can be amended, allowing you to catch up again. This is an important thing to know in your heart of hearts. In the face of any current discouragements, you remember that not all is lost. Some people spend their lives in desperate fear of scarcity. You have overcome that tendency with the help of your past experience. This is a source of serenity for you when you can remember it.
5: House of Magic
A recent awakening calls the separated elements of your life force together.

The Judgment card in this position suggests a wake-up call that rattled every corner of your identity, leading to a re-integration of fragmented parts of your personality. This may have seemed disastrous to your ego and its control fantasies. But now your life force can harmonize spirit, mind and body. This transformation is a great mystery that many have worked on lifetime after lifetime, but only those blessed or cursed with a passion for redemption actually experience it. Such an event can change your expectations of yourself and what you look for and evoke out of others. It may be just the impetus you have needed to creatively achieve your goals.
6: House of Apprenticeship
Because of the high values you have stood for, your success is well deserved.

When the King of Coins comes up in this position, you are being acknowledged for a steadfast commitment to success. You deserve your success because you have followed through and taken responsibility for every step. The rewards you receive are well earned, no matter how generous they seem. Continue representing the loftiest values by how you deploy those rewards. Your higher nature recognizes the progress you’ve made. You are earning your stripes and leaving the world a better place than when you came in.
7: House of Relationships
Sometimes it’s necessary to let go of rational functions and trust your senses.
With the Moon in this position, you are on the brink of a period of time so multidimensional that it will be hard to separate fact from fantasy. So many developments will unfold, change and merge that it’s difficult to comprehend every nuance. It’s almost overwhelming. Open and relax your mind into a more primal state of pure awareness. We are generally so identified with the rational intellect that when shamanic information or deep body wisdom rises up to consciousness, we fail to recognize them. Open all your pores, raise your antenna and just feel your way along. If you get stuck rationalizing, you will sink like a stone.
8: House of Secrets
Don’t waste time and energy chasing personal acclaim.

The Page of Cups in this position represents that part of you that feels as if you are not getting enough credit and acknowledgment. Under such circumstances, it’s best to ask yourself if you have done enough to fulfill your obligations and responsibilities rather than worry about if others have sufficiently noticed you. There are times when its advisable not to draw attention or create waves, and this is one of them. Find what you need within yourself. Modify your attitude rather than resent that no one takes heed of your unique qualities. Discover how to fill your own cup while remaining true to your quest.
9: House of Visions
Loving support is available to you now; be open to receiving it while you can.
The Queen of Cups in this position points to someone, or a group of people, who are willing to provide you with empathy and understanding, the nurturing sort of kindness we generally associate with a loving parent. The Queen of Cups energy has the ability to intuit what your issues or pains are and help you pinpoint the distress or real needs. She will gently put her hand right where it hurts, help you understand and heal the pain. She’s a great one for emotional processing and will generously give of her time. Avail yourself of her acceptance, understanding, loving kindness and healing energy while you can. From time to time, we all need to drink from this fountain and she is happy to share it with you now. Enjoy the support while it is available to you, but don’t become permanently dependent upon it.
10: House of Reputation
This is the moment to apply yourself fully.

The Knight of Cups in this position advises that you jump into the new situation with both feet. Get involved with what is happening, and think no more about the route you had to travel to get back here. And don’t be cavalier about the seeming familiarity. Look deeply at the underlying values here; they may have been something you mistakenly rejected in the past. Be humble enough to look at things through new eyes. At a deep level, your heart and soul are being nourished. Don’t be tempted to run away again — this is where you belong. Your entire journey was designed to bring you home with new appreciation.
11: House of the Future
Circumstances are calling forth the considerable depths of your creativity.
The Ace of Wands in this position indicates that your imagination and visionary power are aroused by the situation you are in, bringing up creative resources you may not have known you owned. You find access to your ingenious self. You may have only set out to solve a problem or answer a nagging question, but your fertile fantasies are revealing reasons to be acknowledged for your inventiveness, leadership and positive thinking. Believe in yourself; share your vision and let your creativity take you where you are needed and wanted.
12: House of Surrender
Don’t allow superficiality to hold you back.

The Ten of Coins in this position requires that you accept your position as an influence on others with grace. Stop pining for the “freedom” of younger years, when you were less tested and you belonged only to yourself. Your accomplishments form the foundation that younger souls are now climbing up on. Now help others in their struggle and their risks. Support people who are currently doing something exciting and innovative with their lives. Don’t hold yourself back because of generation gaps or social convention. Look for dedicated, talented people who are like you were when you started out, and cultivate them.
